Welcome to the Tulare County Symphony Association Website

We are so glad that you decided to visit us.  The 2014-2015 Symphonic Season is our 55th Season, and we are so delighted and proud to be part of the rich cultural tapestry of the arts community in Tulare County.
There are many ways you can become involved with the Tulare County Symphony.  You can attend one of our wonderful concerts, and in May you might even purchase a season ticket for the 55th Symphonic Season.  You can “adopt” one of our amazing musicians or you can make a donation to the Tulare County Symphony Association.
For those of you who are already familiar with the Symphony Association and with our talented orchestra and our beloved Music Director, Bruce Kiesling, you might consider becoming a “sponsor”.  Ticket sales do not cover the cost of putting on a concert and so we are most grateful to receive Concert Sponsorships ($5,000.00); Conductor Sponsorships ($4,000.00); Soloist Sponsorships ($3,000.00) and Rehearsal Sponsorships ($2,500.00).
Do peruse and enjoy our website, and should you have any questions, please feel free to call the Tulare County Symphony office 559-732-8600 and speak to either Louise Gutierrez, Executive Assistant or Francie Levy, Executive Director.

Our Mission

The mission of the Tulare County Symphony Association is to provide a symphony orchestra to Tulare County, to promote and foster appreciation of symphonic music, to further adult participation in creative music activity, and to promote the education and development of young musicians.

Who wants to print their own saxophone? Yes, I said PRINT--as in Ctrl P! Olaf Diegel previews his incredible 3D printed alto sax design. The sax has 41 components excluding all the springs and screws. It is printed in nylon on a SLS machine and weighs less than a quarter of a real sax (575 grams vs 2.5 kg. A couple of the notes are slightly out of tune because of air leakages but Diegel is already working on the next iteration which he claims will be perfect. Olaf is not a saxophone player so marvel at the technical achievement and don’t sweat the actual musical performance :) http://youtu.be/6qNQ5NobrAY

This is a quick sneak preview of my 3D printed alto sax. And an important note: I am not a sax player, so be amazed by what 3D printing is capable, rather th...
