This season, the orchestra traces the influences of our shared musical background. In folk music, folk songs, and folklore, we share a common experience as citizens of the West, as Americans, and as lovers of great music. To celebrate our 57th season of music making, we look at composers who were inspired by our collective musical heritage and how they used it to create some of the greatest music the world has ever known.
